Jeannine Mettinen, Founder
In her professional role as a home care nurse, founder and president of My Neighborheart, Jeannine Mettinen, has had the opportunity to identify gaps in services available in her community. Recognizing that many local community members have needs that simply aren't addressed in traditional local services, Jeannine became inspired to create My Neighborheart.
Jeff May
Jeff is new to the area as a retired software developer. He brings 20+ years of experience in small business operations to help guide us as we focus and grow our services. His love of animals led him to My Neighborheart as a way of establishing community relationships while filling a gap in acute services for people and pets. He and his wife share their home with 3 rescued Siamese cats.
Josh Stephens
Josh is originally from the UK and has lived in NH since 2014 with his wife and, more recently, two young children. He works as a software engineer but is happiest when enjoying the outdoors. Having first become aware of the small gaps in the social safety net via his wife's work at a community mental health center, Josh is now motivated to help alleviate those needs within the Lakes Region community.
Leanne Hamilton
Leanne has lived in Franklin for 40 years. In addition to working part-time at a local dairy farm, she donates her time to local organizations such as the Business and Professional Woman's Group, the food pantry and the Peabody Place Auxiliary, for which she serves as the treasurer. In her spare time, she enjoys motorcycle riding and spending time with family, including her two cats.
Lois Krempel
Originally from the Netherlands, Lois is an experienced registered nurse, now working as a director in a home care agency. In her spare time, Lois enjoys spending time with her pets and is a dedicated animal lover. She also recently began volunteering her time at a horse rescue.
Rich Dougherty
Rich is coming to the end of a 33 year career in teaching and is excited to find new ways to continue to give back to those in the community in which he and his wife raised their family.
Ruth Nadeau
Ruth has over forty years of experience working in healthcare as an Occupational Therapist. She resides in Concord with her cat, Moon. Ruth cherishes time spent with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoys knitting, reading and gardening.
Wendy Jackson
Wendy, a local resident for nearly two decades, brings a wealth of animal experience and expertise to My Neighborheart. With over 40 years of hands-on animal experience, working with animals of all kinds, from guinea pigs to goats, donkeys, horses and everything in between, she is a strong advocate for our community's pets. She has worked in a variety of animal care and welfare settings, from doggie daycare to shelter work. She is certified in Canine CPR, has a certificate in Animal Behavior and is an experienced dog and cat groomer.
